Background of the Study
Agriculture remains a vital sector in Anka Local Government Area (LGA), Zamfara State, providing employment and contributing significantly to the local economy. Effective budgetary practices are essential for funding agricultural programs, improving productivity, and achieving sustainable development. However, Anka LGA faces challenges such as inconsistent budgetary allocations, poor fund utilization, and inadequate monitoring of agricultural projects. This study examines the impact of budgetary practices on agricultural development in Anka LGA.
Statement of the Problem
Despite government efforts to support agriculture, Anka LGA continues to experience low agricultural productivity and underfunded programs. Inefficient budgetary practices and financial mismanagement are significant obstacles to progress. This study investigates how budgetary practices influence agricultural development in Anka LGA.
